For the first time in Australia, a student cast and orchestra will present The Producers. Featuring the combined talents of the girls and boys of St Aloysius’ College, Loreto Kirribilli, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, Santa Sabina College and PLC Sydney.
The Producers is populated with colourful characters and enlivened with witty songs filled with irreverent cultural references. With a plot of crass and obvious stereotypes, Mel Brooks’ musical masterpiece seeks to offend all equally. The season of four performances on March 18, 19 and 20 (with a matinee at 1.30pm) will be presented in the magnificent Parade Theatre, Kensington.
