Information

The Bankstown Children's Festival is an annual event which caters for children aged between 4-12 years. The day will consist of traditional cultural performances, a cultural parade, free activities for children finishing off the day with a fireworks display.

The Children's Festival has been steadily growing in size over the last eleven years. The organisation hopes that the next planned development would see festivals in all major areas of Sydney and NSW and all other states over a period of ten years. The long-term goal is a National Children's Day for the children in Australia.

The festival aim is to allow all Australian children to share in the joy of coming together to learn about and understand other cultures, thus contributing to helping us all better live in harmony.

Volunteers dedicated to the cause carry out all work. However, its success is also dependent on the support from the community and other children's support organizations, along with government agencies.
