Justine Clarke - Great Big World Tour

Blues & Jazz

18 September

Information

Justine Clarke, one of Australia’s most accomplished and admired performers - and
beloved long-term Play School presenter – is thrilled to announce the New South Wales and Victorian dates of her extensive national tour.
On the verge of her Great Big World DVD release (out this Thursday), live shows have been confirmed for young fans in many regions of New South Wales and Victoria, adding to the already announced South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland dates.

Following a run of east coast dates last year, this July Justine begins an extensive national tour bringing to life her many fantastic fun-filled tunes as she sings and dances her way through a magical near-hour long show.
Justine’s latest show explores the music and colour of her new CD & DVD release Great Big World (ABC/Roadshow), journeying over land and under the sea before arriving at the end of the rainbow.
The show also includes sing-a-long favourites from Justine’s previous releases I Like to Sing and Songs To Make You Smile, accompanied by a live band of fine musicians who bring great skill and plenty of entertainment for the little ones and big ones.
Justine Clarke is a versatile performer - an acclaimed film, television and stage actress as well as an accomplished jazz singer. Justine is also a mother of three.

An actress since childhood, Justine became a household name playing ‘Roo’ in Home & Away at 16-years old. Numerous TV credits include Love My Way and Tangle of which she has just completed a 2nd series and was this year nominated for the ‘Most Outstanding Actress’ Logie.
Film credits include Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, Japanese Story, Danny Deckchair and the highly acclaimed, award-winning Look Both Ways. Justine also frequently performs for the Sydney Theatre Company.
“Whether it’s singing or acting on stage, performing live is where I get my kicks,” says Justine. “Music-related live performance with little kids is incredibly satisfying because they are so willing to participate and have a good time. Everybody’s there to join in, parents included.”
