First Fleet Park will go wild when animals from Bilbies to pythons met the public for 2010 National Threatened Species Day.
Iconic Australian Dawn Fraser will launch the FREE community action and awareness event surrounded by Australian wildlife!
Bondi’s famous vet, Dr Chris Brown, will be on hand for an hour long Question and Answer session between 12:15- 1:15pm to the public about the plight of our threatened species and the important conservation role of zoos and aquariums in Australia.

The date for National Threatened Species Day, 7th September commemorates the last day of that the Tasmanian Tiger was alive in 1936.
This event runs from 9am-2pm and will include presentations by zoos, parks, aquariums and their wildlife.
National Threatened Species Day is being coordinated by the Zoo and Aquarium Association, peak body for over 70 member zoos and aquariums throughout Australasia.
