Watch some of the best local up-and-coming talent compete for $2,000 in prizes at the grand final of
Ku-ring-gai’s Got Talent on Friday October 29 at the Fitz Youth Centre.
 
The top 12 qualifiers who will compete for the honour of becoming the very first Ku-ring-gai’s Got Talent winner are:

All 12 finalists come from a music background and will sing in a variety of styles, including musical theatre, pop and folk.
Ku-ring-gai’s Got Talent is a public event, and all residents are welcome to attend.
“The grand final will be a fantastic evening of entertainment for the whole family, showcasing outstanding young artists, celebrating Ku-ring-gai’s diverse pool of talent and featuring a special performance by mentalist Zac Blood,” said Mayor Ian Cross.
 “Congratulations to everyone who auditioned and especially to those who made it to this final stage of the competition.”
Expert judges will be giving useful feedback to help the contestants launch their careers in the music industry.
Judge Justine Moyle from Madison Entertainment has over 10 years’ experience in radio and television worldwide, including BBC’s Radio1 and Australian Idol. Justine is currently working with Kasey Chambers on her latest album, and also consults to Luke Dickens, John Vella and Golden Guitar winner Victoria Baillie.
Anouk Van Meewan from AMV Publicity has worked with Warner Music, Universal Music, Sony Music, BMG Records, Natalie Imbruglia, The Veronicas and Kyle Minogue.
Sonya Marturano from Random Management represents the most dynamic performing arts talent aged 25 or younger.
Ku-ring-gai’s Got Talent is proudly supported by Ku-ring-gai Youth Leaders, Ku-ring-gai Council Youth Services, KYDS Counselling Services, Bendigo Bank Turramurra, Turramurra Music, Papa’s Pizza and Lindfield Bookshop.
