What is Queer Sydney?

7 brand new short-plays explore what it means to be a part of the LGBT community in Sydney in the 21st Century.

Hot on the heels of The Colour Blind Project’s successful inaugural play festival last year, the team brings their groundbreaking concept to Australia’s premier LGBT event, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

The Mardi Gras Colour Blind Project celebrates the diverse pool of multicultural talent in Sydney and those from the LGBT community that are often underrepresented in theatre because of their racial and cultural background. The Project seeks to break deep-rooted stereotypes, embrace and celebrate cultural diversity, and unify a disjointed LGBT community.

Be provoked, entertained and challenged in an official selection for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2011.
