COME JOIN THE FESTIVITIES AT THE BANKSTOWN RECREATION EXPO
All the sport, leisure and recreation enthusiasts out there are encouraged to come and join in the fun and games at the 2012 Bankstown Recreation Expo.
Council’s annual Recreation Expo is taking place at Carysfield Reserve, off Johnston Road, Bass Hill on Saturday 10 March from 2.00pm - 6.00pm and you won't want to miss it.
The Recreation Expo brings the Bankstown community together with many of the local sports clubs and recreation organisations in attendance on the day. If your New Years resolution is to get active, this is your chance to try out a host of recreation and leisure activities, whilst enjoying the festive atmosphere of the Expo. Best of all, the event is FREE to attend and everyone is encouraged to join in!
There will be something for everyone on the day with lots of activities including:
• Appearance by sporting stars from Greater Western Sydney Giants & Sydney Kings
• Awesome skateboard competition
• Interactive sports demonstrations
• Dance/fitness performances
• Photograph competition
• Bungee Tramps & Water Balls
• ‘Jungle Challenge’ & Jumping Castle
• Face painters & Treasure Hunt
• Animal Farm with sheep shearing and whip cracking
• Promotions & giveaways
• Much more
