From 12 January 2010, the always anticipated St.George OpenAir Cinema returns to Mrs Macquaries Point to give Sydney-siders a festival of film other cities can only dream of.
Featuring a massive three-story-high screen set against a backdrop that spans the city skyline, Opera House and Harbour Bridge, St.George OpenAir Cinema captures all that's great about Sydney in summertime.
From early evening the event's restaurant and bar are buzzing with patrons wanting to make the most of the amazing location. Leading Sydney caterer Belinda Franks delivers a first class menu which is complemented by a five star wine, beer and cocktail list.
Comfortable grandstand seating, Dolby Digital surround sound(r) and a film program that's jam- packed with premieres, previews and all the latest releases, complete an extraordinary cinema experience.
Each December this event sells-out faster than the previous year. Last summer, more than 20 000 tickets sold in the first half hour of pre-sales alone. So those who want to get their hands on tickets are encouraged to be ready when pre-sales commence at 9 am on 17 December
