In an ideal world kids should take part in some strength training along with aerobic exercise such as running & jumping, which keeps the heart and lungs in shape.
After months of research and planning K-Box Instructors have developed a kids program using many of the same fun techniques practiced in the adults classes but designed with short attention spans in mind!
Fun activities such as jumping, punching, kicking, tag games, floor work like sits ups and mini push ups add to the overall blend of the classes and will give kids a good workout.
The classes are designed to improve eye co-ordination, motor skills, running, catching, throwing, jumping and balance. As a result K-Box kids will learn sports skills used at school and enjoy socialising with friends because they have the confidence to join in all activities.
No-one can match the reputation K-Box has built for itself over the past 6 years, with unanimous feedback stating that no other studio offers the level of care, teaching and one to one personal attention that K-Box Instructors give to their students.
K-Box offer kids classes 3 times per week and parents are welcome to stay and watch for the first week.
K-Box Kids is open to kids from 5 – 9 years old – classes run Mon, Wed & Thurs at 3.30-4.15pm
K-Box Cadets caters to 10 – 15 year olds – classes run Mon, Wed & Thurs at 4.15-5.00pm
*16 years and over can attend the Adult classes
