The Signorelli Gastronomia cooking class programme has been developed to compliment local and seasonal produce. Learn how to create authentic Italian pizza from our in-house Pizzaiolo Salvatore D’Avola.
Signorelli Gastronomia provides no ordinary cooking class. These cooking classes have been reviewed by the Good Food section of the Sydney Morning Herald and are raved about by all of our guests. You will find all of your senses immersed in the Signorelli sensation as you participate in this mouthwatering class. The night begins with the restaurant manager introducing himself and the Pizziaolo guiding guests to the delectable antipasto bar. The antipasto bar consists of warm Italian bread, scrumptious hunks of buffalo Parmesan cheese in a giant wheel and freshly sliced prosciutto.
You are then invited to stand back, munch on these delicious treats and enjoy a complimentary glass of Italian wine or a premium bottle of Italian beer from our wine room as you absorb the ambiance of Signorelli Gastronomia. This class takes you through step-by-step on how to make an authentic Italian pizza and become a pizza connoisseur. Our Pizzaiolo Salvatore will teach you the techniques of kneading, measuring and producing a delightful pizza.
Perhaps what is the most exciting part of the class is to dare you to a Masterchef pizza challenge, have fun learning pizza acrobatics and spin your pizza like a pro, followed by the taste testing part. After cooking your tasty pizza in our stone fired oven, you get to sit back and enjoy the pizza with your new found friends.
This is a hands-on class, you will be involved in the cooking process from start to finish.
