Exclusive Penguin Expedition Launch Party

SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is an experience not to be missed, like entering a magical underwater world.

Various ‘zones’ showcase more than 700 species of marine life in impressive displays.

You can stroll under the sea as you pass through glass tunnels allowing viewing of marine creatures at close quarters.  Sharks, dugong, sting rays and an array of other colourful sea life can be seen gliding slowly and majestically overhead.

The dugong is an amazing creature to look at, and the passionate and helpful staff are more than willing to talk about the two at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, a female and a male, Wuru and Pig, who can  be seen at the Dugong Island exhibit, as well as swimming overhead.  Their diet consists of lettuce, and lots of it.

A new exhibit, “The Penguin Expedition”, takes guests on a raft through a sub-Antarctic environment at six degrees Celsius, surrounded by a colony of King and Gentoo penguins. These little creatures are cute and hilarious, and it is magical to see them up close in a recreation of their home environment.

This is an exhibit that will surely leave you smiling.

Entrance to Penguin Expedition - including daily feeds and talks from dedicated keepers and trainers - is included in the cost of general admission. Visitors are urged to book tickets well in advance to avoid missing out on this very cool experience. For more information, visit www.sealifesydney.com.au
