Now in its seventh year, Culinary Carnivale will again offer a mouth-watering menu showcasing cuisines from Spain and Latin America, accompanied by Brazilian dancers, drummers, Mexican singers and a whole lot more in a friendly family atmosphere. There's free entertainment and free amusement rides - and our headline act for 2017 - iconic Indigenous performer Christine Anu - is reason enough to head to this fabulous and fun family festival! There's also traditional and contemporary singing and dancing from across Latin America. The popular 10m long asado barbecue returns in 2017, as well as stalls offering South American sweets, Spanish seafood paella and empanadas. Make a date to join this authentic food event and live "la buena vida" (the good life) on Saturday 21 October in Spencer and Ware streets, Fairfield. The feast starts at 11am and your last bite is at 4pm.
