Dimitri & Caroline
About you guide, Dr Dimitri Douchin
When I was a child, my parents told me that I was always looking at stars up into the sky. Fast-forward 25 years later, I was graduating with a PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Macquarie University.
I absolutely love sharing my passion with the public. I have 10+ years experience and an extensive experience working with children. I worked as an Astronomy guide at Sydney Observatory, at Mt John Observatory, the world-renowned astronomical observatory in Lake Tekapo (New Zealand) and as an Astronomy & Field Guide at the luxury resort Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley (Blue Mountains).
I spend my time exploring the Blue Mountains looking for aboriginal engravings, making my natural-materials survival gear and developing my men’s coaching business. My fiancé Caroline and I found our home sanctuary in Leura in the Blue Mountains.
