Vivid Chef Series


Amplifying the energy and innovation at the heart of Sydney's restaurant scene is the Vivid Chef Series. This exciting new culinary experience pairs cutting-edge global chefs with iconic Sydney restaurants and chefs for a series of unique collaborative dinners that celebrate the incredible diversity and quality of NSW produce.

Each evening, plates will become the playground as trailblazing local chefs join forces with their international counterparts to create bespoke menus that reach across the waters and reflect their shared curiosity, creativity and individual heritage. Across the three weeks, expect to be wowed by collaborations that span the gauntlet of relaxed to fine dining, contemporary European to authentic African cuisine, reflecting the originality in the vanguard of the Sydney restaurant scene and the combined passion of the chefs.

Fred's x Jackson Boxer: 4 June - 7 June
Jackson Boxer, owner of Brunswick House and one of London’s hottest chefs, will be teaming up with Hussein Sarhan of two-hatted Fred’s for a series of future-gazing dinners that showcase the bounteous flavour of NSW ingredients and celebrate Australia’s native produce.

Yellow x Rishi Naleendra: 6 June  - 9 June 
Rishi Naleendra of two Michelin-starred Cloudstreet in Singapore will be collaborating with his former mentor Brent Savage and the two-hatted Yellow team on a menu that showcases Rishi’s Sri Lankan cooking heritage and Brent’s cutting-edge approach to plant-based cuisine.

Kiln x Jeremy Fox: 13 June - 14 June
Mitch Orr of Kiln, winner of Good Food Guide 2023’s New Restaurant of the Year will be working with award-winning chef Jeremy Fox of LA restaurants Rustic Canyon and Birdie G’s for a series of dinners inspired by Jeremy’s roots in eastern Europe and Mitch’s genre-defying south east Asian ‘Italian-ish’ cookery, that champion hyper-seasonality and the art of simplicity.

Bar Morris x Mmabatho Molefe: 14 June - 17 June
Vanguard of Zulu and Nguni cuisine, Mmabatho Molefe will be showcasing her sensational cookery in collaboration with the Head Chef of the highly anticipated Bar Morris across a menu that spans three continents, blending distinct cultures, flavours and roots for an experience unlike anything that has come before it.
