MUSEUM OF FLEAS, produced by ROGERS & URQUHART and THE IMPERIAL HOTEL as part of Sydney Fringe 2019,
Let's tear beneath the beige surface of this city. They're here! The Fleas - to fascinate, irritate, astonish and take over the Imperial Hotel Erskinville in the last week of September for The Sydney Fringe Festival. They leap, they laugh, they kiss you, they bite!
All orginal works by vibrant musicians, visual artists, photo-journalists, poets, dancers, light artists and queer performers. Dare to enter the basement of the Imperial where poetry upends the world around us, singers, guitars, violins and cellos search deep into our heart, dancers writhe, a world of hilarious dangerous energy and desire.
The Fleas shift their gender back and forth to an astonishing place of freedom beyond the sexes. Like the power of nature and fiery energy, it's a world of magical transformations.
