BETWEEN WORLDS: Hsun Hsiang, Paul McCarthy, Huajie Zhang

This July, Rochfort Gallery proudly presents Between Worlds, a group exhibition featuring three artists. Chinese-born artists Pin Hsun Hsiang and Zhang Huajie, who migrated to Australia, navigate the intersection of Chinese and Australian cultures. While inheriting the rich artistic traditions of China, they have also undergone transformation through the influence of Australian culture. Australian artist Paul McCarthy is known for his restrained and contemplative style, capturing subtle balances between avant-garde experimentation and the mundane rhythms of everyday life.

Positioned within the space between cultures and artistic practices, the three artists construct diverse creative contexts through their distinctive perspectives. This exhibition is a visual dialogue on identity, boundary-crossing, and cultural fusion.
