Information
Step into the extraordinary world of The Pintupi Nine, a powerful exhibition honouring one of the most remarkable stories in contemporary Indigenous Australian art. Featuring works by Walala, Warlimpirrnga, Thomas Tjapaltjarri, and Yukultji Napangati, this collection offers a rare glimpse into the lives and legacy of a family group who emerged from the Gibson Desert in 1984, having lived a traditional nomadic life. Their dot paintings are rich with spiritual meaning and connection to Country. This is a moving tribute, particularly in light of the recent passing of Thomas Tjapaltjarri. A must-see exhibition at Kate Owen Gallery, Rozelle. Free entry. All welcome.
