Hangover Terrace Tour
Three-time Juno Award winner Ron Sexsmith, one of Canada’s most acclaimed singer-songwriters, makes his long-awaited return to Australia with his band for the first time in eleven years.
Known for his insightful lyrics and distinctive voice, Sexsmith has collaborated with the likes of Daniel Lanois, Mitchell Froom, Ane Brun, Tchad Blake, and Bob Rock. His songs have been recorded by artists such as Rod Stewart, k.d. lang, Nick Lowe, Emmylou Harris, Feist, and Michael Bublé.
Over the years, Sexsmith has earned a devoted following among critics and peers alike - including songwriting legends like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Ray Davies, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, Elvis Costello, and Chris Martin. Celebrated for his heartfelt honesty and poignant lyrics, his songwriting has evolved into a timeless blend of classic pop, folk, and roots-rock - an unmistakable style that continues to resonate across generations.
He returns to the stage with songs from his 18th studio album Hangover Terrace, released earlier this year with Cooking Vinyl. Produced by Martin Terefe, the album features 14 new tracks and marks an exciting evolution in his sound.
Don’t miss this intimate evening with one of music’s most enduring and gifted storytellers.
