Information
Sydney Con Jazz Festival presents a huge variety of international, interstate and NSW artists performing everything from newly commissioned and cutting-edge works to feel-good swing bands.
Housed at the Sydney Conservatorium, nestled around an atrium filled with swinging jazz bands, and a fully stocked bar, the festival presents 26 concerts showcasing 140+ incredible musicians all staged on a single day, Sunday May 31 between 12pm & 9.30pm.
International artists, including Ben van Gelder & Reinier Baas, Kristin Berardi & Florian Ross, and Jef Neve & Teus Nobel appear alongside Spirograph Studies, James Muller, Barney McAll, the Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra, and emerging artists including Lucy Clifford, Lauren Tsamouris and the Josh Meader Trio.
From intimate duos to a world premiere for double big band, audiences move through the Conservatorium, following the music and their curiosity. More than a concert series, this is a rare chance to experience jazz as a living, breathing art form in the very place shaping the next generation of talent.
A range of affordable ticket and pass options are available from $30 to $179 including limited single tickets to each of the premium international concerts in the Festival. Our Festival Passes offer a great way to immerse yourself in a day of fabulous jazz.
Join us for a magical day of innovation, inspiration and improvisation!
