A magical school holiday adventure with live music and storytelling on Sydney Harbour
Experience the timeless tale of Pinocchio in a brand-new ACO Families production brought to life through live music, theatrical storytelling and a little touch of magic.
Performed live on stage by an actor alongside ACO Families musicians, this joyful reimagining follows Pinocchio as he discovers courage, friendship and what it truly means to be real.
With an original score performed live, this enchanting production is filled with wonder, laughter and unforgettable moments that will delight young audiences and parents alike.
The Story
There once was a boy who was made.
Although Geppetto loves him completely, Pinocchio believes something is missing because he isn't a real boy. But he possesses an extraordinary gift — in a world of half-truths and fake news, his nose knows.
Along his incredible journey he outsmarts a fox and a cat, rides inside a whale, survives becoming a donkey, and ultimately discovers that courage, kindness and love are what truly make someone real.
A Magical Family Experience
Designed especially for children aged 3–8 years and their families, Pinocchio is the perfect introduction to live classical music.
Enjoy a 30-minute live performance followed by a special Q&A with the musicians, where curious young minds can ask questions and learn more about the instruments and music.
Before and after each performance, children can explore free play activities in the foyer while adults enjoy spectacular views across Sydney Harbour.
