Following a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, an acclaimed European tour, and a triumphant New York Soho Theatre residency, after previewing it at the Sydney Comedy Festival last year Emmanuel Sonubi returns with the fully finished version of his now hit show Life After Near Death.

A deeply personal yet explosively funny hour, Life After Near Death explores what happens when life blindsides you in the most dramatic way possible. After surviving heart failure while performing on stage, Emmanuel found himself forced to confront everything: identity, mortality, fatherhood, and the ridiculousness of hospital gowns, all through the only lens he truly knows: comedy.

The result is a hilarious, uplifting, and brutally honest show about resilience, recovery, and the strange moments of humour that appear when you least expect them.
