The 31st Greek Film Festival of Sydney returns this October, bringing a vibrant, two-week celebration of Greek cinema to local big screens. Co-presented by the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW, this year's extensive program features close to 50 cinematic works - ranging from contemporary international award-winners and box-office comedies to powerful historical features, short films, and heartwarming documentaries.

The festival officially opens on Tuesday, 13 October with the highly anticipated Australian premiere of Konstantinos Mousoulis' comedy hit, Best Friends Forever, starring Australian actor Louis Mandylor. Other program highlights include a special presentation and Q&A session with acclaimed director Ana Kokkinos for the newly restored 1953 classic Eva, alongside must-see features like Saint Paisios, Broken Vein, Elena's Shift, and A Spartan Dream.
