Bastille Festival Unveils 2026 Dates with an Expanded Circular Quay Footprint

Information

Bastille Festival returns to Circular Quay and The Rocks from 16–19 July 2026, bringing four unforgettable days of French food, wine, art and celebration to the heart of Sydney—free to attend.

Now in its 13th year, this iconic winter festival invites visitors to experience a true taste of France, from gooey raclette, escargots and crêpes to rosé bars, mulled wine and a refined cocktail program. With more than 130 exhibitors and over 80 dishes, it’s a full ‘Tour de France’ of flavour, blending regional classics with modern French-inspired creations.

Wine takes centre stage with Taste France x Vin de France, a lively and immersive experience featuring tastings, masterclasses and sensory moments, alongside 18+ bars across the precinct.

For 2026, the festival expands its footprint across Circular Quay with a connected musical journey in collaboration with the city’s busking program, plus a new French-inspired flea market at Gateway Plaza showcasing vintage finds, artisan goods and community-driven stalls.

With over 110 free performances—from cabaret and live music to roaming acts and French favourites—Bastille Festival transforms the harbour into a vibrant celebration of culture, connection and joie de vivre.

Eat. Drink. Dance. Repeat.
