Mid-Mountains Garden Festival

The Mid-Mountains Garden Festival is a biennial event held in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. This Spring, 11 private gardens will generously open to the public to raise funds for Hazelbrook Public School, a local primary school.

The Festival offers the chance to go on a trail of beautiful home gardens for you to admire and be inspired. There is also opportunity to extend the experience by taking part in a workshop, picnicking at a garden while watching a classical music performance or stopping by the plant stall for new plants to take back to your own garden.

As a P&C fundraiser for Hazelbrook Public School, the Festival is incredibly family-friendly with lots of free activities for the kids, including a fun Scavenger Hunt that will take them across all 11 gardens. The Mid-Mountains Garden Festival has become a well-loved tradition in the Blue Mountains, bringing garden lovers and the community together since 1984.

Net proceeds from this year’s Festival will go towards Hazelbrook Public School P&C’s continued support of bus subsidies for families, the school canteen and greenhouse, plus the purchase of wireless headphones to support student learning and wellbeing and the setting up of a Breakfast Club.
