Ocean Lovers Festival

Australia’s largest ocean culture and science celebration returns this March for its 6th year - inviting you to Dive into Discovery & Wonder. Across the month, enjoy ocean talks, workshops, films, markets, music, coastal activities, citizen science, family fun, ocean sports and on-water conservation experiences.
Celebrate the brand-new Manly Festival (5 - 8 March) and the iconic Big Bondi Weekend (21 - 22 March), alongside events across Sydney all month long. Learn, play and discover simple, practical ways to love and protect the ocean.

Manly Festival (5–8 March)
A program of ocean action including:
• Beach clean-ups and coastal walks
• AUSMAP microplastics investigations
• Community activities with Surfrider Foundation and Surfers for Climate
• Films, talks, music and family-friendly programming
Bondi Beach (21–22 March)
Bondi comes alive with:
• Sunrise yoga and free talks on science and innovation
• Ocean-friendly markets, live music and creative workshops
• Swim, dive, surf or play beach netball for ocean health
• A Pavilion film program, including a free screening of Ocean with David Attenborough
• Weekly Paint & Splash classes and an ocean wildlife watercolour workshop
