Information
Join us for the inaugural St Leonards Lunar Laneways, a vibrant new twilight street party series celebrating Lunar New Year and the rich cultural diversity of our community.
The 2026 program, curated in partnership with the Korean Cultural Centre, will spotlight the traditions and contemporary energy of Korean culture through:
Night markets and delicious food stalls
Live performances including gugak music and K-pop
Interactive workshops, cultural games and art installations
Lanterns, light displays and immersive public art
Don’t worry, there will be plenty of other lunar traditions from across Asia too!
This free, family-friendly celebration will transform Canberra Avenue and Marshall Lane into a glowing festival hub beneath Wadanggari Park, just steps away from St Leonards Station.
Mark your calendar and celebrate the start of the Lunar Laneways tradition - where light, music and community come together under the summer sky.
St Leonards Lunar Laneways is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW
