First launched in 2011, the Sydney Tea Expo has been held five times and has become one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events celebrating the art of tea. Since 2018, it has taken place annually in late November, pausing briefly during the pandemic before returning in 2023 with renewed vitality. Dedicated to promoting the enjoyment, appreciation, and industry of tea, the Expo welcomes everyone to share in the experience of tea culture.
This year, more than thirty tea makers from China and Australia will showcase a curated selection of premium teas, exquisite teawares, and tea-inspired creations. Visitors can enjoy tea ceremonies, guided tastings, cultural talks, and interactive displays that celebrate the beauty and diversity of tea.
Open to the public with free admission, this three-day event welcomes tea lovers, industry professionals, and curious newcomers alike to explore, taste, and connect.
