Bessie's welcomes Dave Verheul of Melbourne's Embla and Saison Aperitifs for one night only - the third instalment of the Goodies & Friends Series, following collaborations with Dan Hunter of Brae, and Tipo 00 X Giorgio De Maria at Vin-Cenzo's.
On Monday 12th October, Dave brings his produce-driven approach to the Bessie's kitchen, featuring dishes including Raw Tuna and Chickpea Tostada with Kalamata Olive and Sobrasada, and a Globe Artichoke Tart with Ricotta, Pine Nuts and Fermented Buttermilk.
Alongside the food, expect a selection of special bottles and the full Saison range - included Red, White Flowers and Spring Rhubarb, the Vermouth and Amari label Dave founded in 2020 out of his experiments at Embla.
