Australia's richest art prize is opening its doors for a limited time only. Visit the free 2019 exhibition for the opportunity to see the most compelling works from Australia's best artists.
The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, established in 1988, has grown to be one of the most prestigious art prizes with the largest prize money of any art competition in Australia. The prize attracts not only the cream of Australian portraiture artists but encourages artists at all stages of their careers to enter.
The exhibition is housed at historic Juniper Hall, Paddington, the oldest standing example of a Georgian villa in Australia and a unique setting for the Moran collection. Only open to the public for five weekends, gallery doors must close on 1 December 2019.
