Artisans in the Park / Tramsheds - Not for profit market
On Saturday 5 September, Tramsheds will once again come alive with creativity as Artisans in the Park transforms the heritage precinct into a vibrant celebration of local makers, designers and artists.
Running from 10.00am to 3.00pm, the not-for-profit market invites visitors to wander through the upper and lower levels of Tramsheds, where an inspiring collection of handcrafted ceramics, jewellery, homewares, textiles, glass art, fine art and more will be on display.
What sets Artisans in the Park apart is the opportunity to meet the people behind the work. Throughout the day, artisans will be on hand to share the stories, skills and passion behind their creations, offering visitors a rare insight into the craftsmanship that goes into every piece.
Adding to the atmosphere, talented local musicians will provide live entertainment, creating the perfect soundtrack for a leisurely day of browsing, discovering unique treasures and supporting small creative businesses. Whether you're searching for a one-of-a-kind gift, adding something special to your home, or simply looking for an enjoyable day out, there's something to inspire every visitor.
Located at Tramsheds, 1 Dalgal Way, Forest Lodge, the market is easily accessible—just a one-minute walk from Jubilee Park Light Rail—with regular bus services nearby and ample free on-site and off-street parking.
Admission is free, making Artisans in the Park a wonderful opportunity to experience the creativity, community spirit and heritage that continue to make Tramsheds one of Sydney's favourite gathering places. More details at artisansinthepark.org.au of follow us @artisansintheparksydney
