IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 AND THE ENTERTAINMENT QUARTER
We would like to keep you, our customers and visitors, updated on the actions we are taking in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Firstly, in addition to continuing to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout The Entertainment Quarter precinct, our cleaning staff will be provided with special hygiene kits, including hospital-grade disinfectant and hand sanitisers and will be particularly vigilant in wiping down surfaces that are typically subject to high levels of human contact (eg, door handles, table surfaces, etc).
As the Australian Government has banned all non-essential outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people and all non-essential indoor gatherings of 100 people. Centre Management has worked closely with event organisers to cancel or postpone upcoming events within EQ, see here for further details. We continue to work with our tenants on a daily basis to assess and determine any changes that should be made. While we remain open, a number of our businesses may have changed opening hours, operating methods or may have closed. To find out which EQ businesses are still open, please read this page.
We are also requesting your assistance by taking some simple precautionary steps, such as:
- Frequently and thoroughly washing your hands with soap under running water, noting that we have 4 public toilet blocks and a parent’s room. See here for locations
- Covering your mouth with your elbow when coughing or sneezing
- Seeking medical advice if you are feeling unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms
We recognise that these are challenging times and appreciate your on-going support. We will continue to monitor the Australian Government’s advice with respect to events and recommended precautionary actions and keep you updated on what this might mean for The Entertainment Quarter.

Craft Drinks Markets feature small, independent Australian craft drinks producers from NSW and across the country. Making the finest spirits, beer, wine cider and more, you’ll find drinks made with passion, knowledge and know-how.
Hear origin stories and behind-the-scenes talks direct from the drink makers, take part in masterclasses, and witness the artistry of cocktail creation. There are plenty of food offerings, family-friendly drinks, and lifestyle stalls as well.
Gin-maker, chocolate lover, and visionary, Lindsay Silcox is the genius behind the Craft Drinks Market concept. Aware that Australian beer, wine, spirit, and cider producers were not as recognised or popular among consumers as they deserved to be, he took a cue from the many specialty markets serving bespoke producers and decided a craft drinks market was the obvious solution.
Each month, the market will showcase boutique distillers, brewers and wineries from around the country. Attendees will be among the first to sample brand new products.
Held on the 4th Sunday of each month, 10:30am – 4:30pm under the market canopy at EQ. Tickets are available for $15 on the day or pre-purchased online for only $10.
