Information
Step inside Macquarie University’s Gale History Museum for an hour of discovery, curiosity and scientific investigation. Designed for explorers aged 7–13, this interactive workshop blends the wonders of dinosaurs with the mysteries of ancient civilisations — all through the power of objects, fossils and clues from the past.
You will explore genuine artefacts, handle real fossils, and work together to solve science-based challenges. Guided by palaeontologist and archaeologist Sally Hurst, participants will uncover how scientists piece together stories about ancient animals and people, and why evidence matters when we’re trying to understand the past.
Perfect for curious minds who love dinosaurs, ancient worlds, museums, or hands-on learning.
