The Life & Rhymes of Banjo Paterson

125th Anniversary of Banjo Paterson’s Bathurst presentation. On 26 and 27 April, 1901,
Australia’s most famous poet, Banjo Paterson, presented lectures on the Boer War in the
Bathurst School of Arts. Well known poet Gregory North is re-enacting Banjo’s tour and
will present his show, The Life & Rhymes of Banjo Paterson. Greg is from the Blue Mountains
and spends four months each year in Winton, Queensland where Banjo wrote “Waltzing
Matilda”. Light refreshments will be provided after the presentation.
