Located in Barooga, along the Murray River, Bullanginya Dreaming is Australia’s only permanent Luna Light Journey, blending contemporary art with deep Indigenous heritage.
Created in collaboration with Bangerang artists, this immersive night-time experience transforms a tranquil walking track into a vibrant, sensory journey through Country. Each installation is thoughtfully designed to connect visitors with Indigenous culture, local flora and fauna, and the stories of this land.
Through captivating multimedia storytelling, Bullanginya Dreaming reveals the enduring connection between the Bangerang people and Country—inviting reflection, respect and cultural understanding.
ECHOES of Bullanginya introduces five new holographic installations within the existing 1.8km outdoor gallery. These striking works bring to life Bangerang totems, spirit animals and birds in a powerful fusion of light and storytelling.
This is a self-guided, immersive experience—a gentle 1.5 to 2 hour walk through majestic Murray River red gums and yellow box trees, designed for personal discovery and connection.
