Goat Island Tall Tales and True Tour

Information

Learn about the Island's rich Aboriginal, convict, colonial and maritime heritage significance on a 2 hour history tour.  Highlights include the Powder Magazine Complex, Sydney's oldest surviving Water Police Station and the grand Harbour Master's Residence. WARNING: Everything you hear will be true, even if it does sound stranger than fiction - no need for furphies on this tour. Activity grading: Medium (Some steps or steep areas - suitable for people who walk occasionally).

Cost:   $24.00 (incl-GST) per person $27.00 (incl-GST) per person for tour plus 45 minutes extra for a BYO picnic lunch.

Group bookings are available for a minimum of 25 people and a maximum of 60 people. Tours can be conducted on any weekday between 10am and 3pm. Toilets are located on Goat Island. Cold drinks are available for purchase. Ticket prices include return ferry transfers from Circular Quay. 

All tours meet at Cadmans Cottage, 110 George Street, The Rocks, NSW 2000. Please bring hat, sunscreen and water  Payment and Cancellation A 25% deposit of the total tour amount is required at time of booking.  Balance of all fees is required two weeks prior to the tour date. Tours are non refundable.  Transfers to another date can be made, if requested at least 48 hours prior to the date of tour.
