Horse Riding Lessons with Elite Instructors

Horse riding lessons at Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre (CPEC) allows riders to choose from eleven elite equestrian instructors (including former Olympic coaches and the National Showjumping Champion) for casual lessons or formal coaching programs.

Horse riding in the city is an iconic must at CPEC for locals and visitors alike and now you can learn ‘how to’ from the best. Whether you have no experience with horses or been riding for years CPEC riding schools will be able to help riders learn and improve their horse riding skills.

Riding lessons are available seven days a week for those who want to learn the basics - or just experience what it is like to ride a horse. Opportunities include basic hand-led walking around our indoor arena or rides in Centennial Park. All equipment is provided.

Some instructors include:
- Chris Chugg: one of Australia’s elite jumping riders and the current National Champion

- Judy Dierks: Australian Team member at the World Equestrian Games in The Hague,1994

- Gillian Rickard: World Equestrian Games representative and former head coach of the Australian Dressage Team at the 2004 Paralympics
