Join Eden Unearthed's artist Kristy Gordon to craft your own paper foliage.
In this workshop, participants can enjoy painting and drawing as a creative process that practices slowness within the velocity of everyday life. Artist Kristy Gordon will introduce you to her Slow Art practice based on drawing and the experience of nature.
Beginning by taking time in nature, our group will walk through the gardens to gather fallen gum leaves as inspiration for our drawings, while learning about slow art and drawing as a practice beyond pencil and paper. Then, in the studio, Kristy will guide you to complete a small series of delicate suspended paper works inspired by your wanderings.
Skill level: Beginner - no previous drawing or painting skills are required. Some dexterity is required for hand-sewing and drawing.
Bring yourself and some creativity. Everything else is supplied, including morning tea.
