Information
After launching into the Sydney travel, escape, leisure and lifestyle market in 2020, offering bespoke boat charters around Sydney Harbour and its vast waterways, the boutique boat charter company has seen a record number of requests for romantic harbour experiences this summer and with the state borders finally, the business is looking forward to a bumper Valentine’s Day weekend and special occasion celebrations and reunions on the water for all!
According to co-owner and captain, Elodie Dalgleish, who returned from the boat season in the south of France in early January (see image with father and co-founder, Mark Dalgleish) she’s never had so many locals seeking unique ways to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, graduation or to pop the question in early 2021. “We’re seeing more proposals on the boat than ever before, including a lot of same sex couples and lovers seeking out one-of-a-kind experiences – and of course that iconic insta-moment – on our beautiful Harbour and secret beaches only we can find!
“We can drop our guests off on a secluded harbour island or national park beach with a bottle of bubbly or picnic basket, or they can just bay-hop around some of Sydney’s most beautiful coves and waterways while enjoying a seafood feast, bountiful breakfast or champagne & canapes listening to their favourite music or taking in the Sydney harbour buzz. The beauty of our charters is that they’re totally private, completely bespoke and allow you to cater in your own way with complete privacy which you just can’t get in a restaurant, no matter how luxe,” says Elodie.
MySydneyBoat’s Summer of Love Collection includes a 90 minute Champagne Twilight Cruise for $880 or a 2 hour Secluded Beach Picnic for $1380, or guest can tailor their experiences to meet all requirements ... and they still have availability for something special on Valentine’s Day and beyond!
