Walking along Cleveland Street to The Grand Electric Theatre; you could already sense a little magic in the air. As I drew nearer, you could see people gathering in their red and gold attire, ready for the show that was to come.

Entering the theatre, you were greeted by the most glorious mirror ball.
The lights may have been dim, but the sparkles were high, and that definitely set the tone for the variety spectacular that was to unfurl.

Seven perfectly selected artists were brought out for our feastful eyes, Each having their own niche, and each with their own personally. From cool, calm and collected to suave, sultry and seductive, and just to throw you a little, they even had some nerdy, old school slapstick humour.

Sam Goodburn (UK) certainly threw a curveball from the moment he entered the room. Riding in on a unicycle and looking a lot like Where’s Wally (minus the striped shirt), his segments were like a good dad joke - starting out a little questionable but then bringing it all to a great punchline. His combination of comedy, circus and kookiness created some great moments with the audience. Definitely a great choice for this show.
Acts including Sergiy (Ukraine) and Zoe (Australia) showed discipline and precision. Leaving the audience mesmerised.
Diana (Ukraine/Germany) and Adam (Australia) knew how to strut their stuff and bring just the right amount of sexiness to the show.
Geniris and Danik were instant crowd pleasers. Big, beautiful smiles and infectious energies.
I also loved the fact the all the cast came out after the show to mingle and get some photos with everyone.
So if you love burlesque, music, comedy and circus, then this show certainly ticks all the boxes for a fun filled night out.
Five stars!
