A luminous new exhibition launching for Vivid Sydney
To coincide with Sydney’s most visually immersive cultural moment, Vivid Sydney, ART+ Gallery will present Resinate, a striking new exhibition by contemporary artist Jeremy Kay, opening to the public on Friday 22 May.
Known for his distinctive use of resin as both medium and light source, Jeremy Kay’s practice explores colour, depth and reflection through sculptural, illuminated works. For Resinate, ART+ will present a curated selection of Kay’s light-based resin pieces; works that shift and glow depending on their environment, inviting viewers into a sensory, almost hypnotic experience.

A GALLERY TRANSFORMED
For the opening night, ART+ Gallery will be completely reimagined — a fully immersive environment where light, colour and reflection transform the space into a dynamic visual landscape. The exhibition aligns with the energy of Vivid, offering a more intimate, collectible and design-led interpretation of light as art.
The evening will feature a live DJ program, with two international DJs; Lady Bug and Bella Backe, setting the tone, alongside catering by acclaimed Sydney restaurant Franca, creating a vibrant, late-night gallery experience.
THE WORKS
The exhibition will focus exclusively on Jeremy Kay’s illuminated resin pieces, available in two distinct formats:

Square works – from $4,000 AUD

Round works – from $12,500 AUD
Each piece is handcrafted using layered resin techniques, creating depth, luminosity and a unique interaction with light. These works sit at the intersection of art, design and object, equally suited to collectors, interior spaces and architectural environments.
