What is Whisky Live?
At Whisky Live, you’re not just tasting whisky - you are stepping into a guided journey through flavour, craft and history.

From iconic distilleries to new discoveries, Whisky Live is Sydney’s premiere tasting event. Whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike come together to indulge in fine whiskies from around the world.

Hosted at the Swissôtel Sydney, it is conveniently located within bus and tram networks.

Whisky lovers can sample an unlimited array of drams to excite your palate with new flavours and expressions and enjoy limited-edition releases to rare and exceptional whiskies.

What does your ticket include?
Immerse yourself in three hours of whisky tasting pleasure at one of the session times on Friday or Saturday.

Take your time to visit our exhibitors where you’ll learn about their distillery and experience their whisky flavours. You’ll recognise some brands and discover new favourites from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Australia, USA and more.

Grab your tote bag with your Whisky Live branded tasting glass (yours to keep and add to your collection), a printed Tasting Guide featuring all the whiskies and the flavour profile of each, plus a Whisky Live pen to mark your favourites.

Whisky tasting works up an appetite, and we’ve got you covered. Enjoy complimentary hot and cold foods in between tastings.

Attend one of the free Masterclasses, taste special releases and learn from brand ambassadors.

Visit our Rare & Old Bar featuring whiskies from closed distilleries or rare vintages and purchase a dram for a fraction of the bottle cost.
